The Junior League Palm Springs Desert Communities, established in 1990, is a chapter of the Association of Junior Leagues International , one of 294 chapters worldwide. JLPSDC is a 501(c)(3) organization comprised of Coachella Valley women who have an interest in volunteerism which serves at-risk youth in the Coachella Valley, California.

Congratulations to Safehouse of the Desert with their grand opening on January 22, 2008. This is the JLPSDC's Signature Project: Safehouse of the Desert. The impact of Safehouse of the Desert in our local community will be invaluable.
